Pastor Rob will be speaking on the topic “The Prince of Peace” from the text of Luke 19:28-42. On this week prior to Easter we celebrate the entry of our Lord Jesus into Jerusalem. As they laid palm branches down and praised Him, he wept over Jerusalem and spoke to them of peace. Special music will be provided by the Abundant Grace Choir, Quartet, and Children’s Choir, under the direction of Everlita David.

On his way home from a church conference in 1989, Don Piper’s Ford Escort was struck head-on by an 18-wheeler. He was killed instantly — pronounced dead by four sets of paramedics. But God worked a miracle and sent Don back to a broken body. To date, 34 surgical procedures have taken place. He walks only as a result of miraculous and in some cases medically unexplainable circumstances. During the time he was dead, Piper was granted the extreme privilege of glimpsing Heaven itself.

Ninety minutes after dying, Don Piper came back to life where he faced a long and grueling recovery. Don travels across the country and around the world sharing his amazing story of hope and healing. His message is simple ... We can have a better life now and an eternal life someday through faith in Jesus Christ! Abundant Grace Church is having a  21 day "Proclaimed Fast' beginning January 8th at midnight and ending Midnight January 29th. This fast follows Isaiah 58:6 is for personal victory and direction for the church in 2012.

Award-winning singer-songwriter Gordon Jensen from Nashville Tennessee will ministering in concert Sunday October 30th beginning at 6 pm at Abundant Grace Church.

Jensen was nominated five times for songwriter of the year by the Gospel Music Association while several of his compositions received “Top Ten Song of the Year” awards.

Among the three hundred plus titles he has written are “I Should Have Been Crucified”, “Written in Red”,”He’s as Close as the Mention of His Name”, “Bigger Than Any Mountain”, “We’re Together Again”  and many, many more.

His songs have been recorded by such well-known artists as The Gaithers, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Imperials, Janet Paschal, Larnelle Harris, and more. He is a regular guest on the ‘Gaither’s Homecoming Friends” television program. Along with an anointed music ministry, Gordon is used powerfully  in a dynamic altar ministry.

The concert is free and will begin at 6 pm. The doors will open at 5:15 pm and a love offering will be taken.  Gordon will have his CD’S available.
