Rob Wright

Senior Pastor

Pastor Rob Wright has spent almost his whole life in the ministry. A decorated Vietnam veteran, he was ordained into the ministry in 1972, and has served as pastor, evangelist, prison chaplain and teacher.

In the mid 70’s Rob became the Protestant Chaplain of the infamous Attica state prison in western New York following the riots there. His dynamic experience in the prison was featured on the CBS nightly news, and is the subject of Rob’s first book; “ATTICA PRISON -RIOT TO REVIVAL’’. He was invited to hold crusades in the prisons in Kenya Africa by the government of Kenya; and a record 1760 inmates accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

As an evangelist Rob has ministered across the United States, Canada, Africa, England, and Haiti. He has spoken at over 400 Full Gospel Business Men’s meetings, and has appeared on “CBN’s 700 Club,”Praise The Lord’’, and “Word of Faith” television programs. His personal testimony was featured in the June 1987 issue of “Guideposts” magazine, and he has written articles published in “Christian Life” and “Dove” magazines. Pastor Rob has been gifted with a powerful radio ministry through the years that began with a program heard daily on the ‘’CBN Radio Network” with Pat Robertson.

Pastor Rob’s many years of ministry and warm sense of humor has blessed many who consider him as a “spiritual father”. His vision is to help Christians become all they can be through the teaching of the Word and personal discipleship. Every person is precious, and has an important place at Abundant Grace.

Julie Wright

Associate Pastor & Minister of Music

A graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, Julie is a degreed teacher and interior designer. A classically- trained musician, she is a gifted pianist, soloist, and song-writer.

She has shared her dynamic miracle healing from cancer many times to encourage others to believe God for their healings, as well.

A former president of “Women’s Aglow”, experienced Bible teacher, and conference speaker, Julie heads up “Ladies of Grace’’, the women’s ministry of Abundant Grace Church.

Tony Tharp

Pastor Tony has been involved in ministry since an early age. He grew up with Evangelist/Missionary parents, ministering in the Word and music all over the U.S. and Great Britain. When not traveling, he and his family were based just outside Atlanta, Georgia. He moved to Las Vegas in 1995 where he met the love of his life, Dalene. Together they have raised 4 children and 4 dogs.

Pastor Tony received his Master of Theology degree from Southern Bible Institute and Seminary in 2002. He currently leads worship, and coordinates the Abundant Grace Church “Living Water” ministry as an evangelistic outreach in the Las Vegas Area. Pastor Tony is also a H.O.P.E. Chaplain, has served on the H.O.P.E. Chaplain Executive Board, and visits patients in the hospital. He plays a number of musical instruments: guitar, drums, tenor sax, keyboard, and is learning bass. And he is an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
